Verizon iPhone 4 Review 2011

by AdobephotoshopCS5.com on Mar.14, 2011, under News, Reviews

  • The good: The Verizon iPhone 4 offers a hot-spot feature not available on AT&T’s device. Performance was better in most regards.
  • The bad: The Verizon iPhone 4 lacks world roaming and the ability to access voice and data simultaneously. The hot-spot feature didn’t work with all devices.
  • The bottom line: The Verizon iPhone 4 has much in common with its AT&T counterpart, but varying features and different performance give it enough room to stand apart. It won’t vastly change your iPhone experience, but we welcome the consumer choice that it brings.

Steve Jobs is Straight Up Crazy

by AdobephotoshopCS5.com on Jun.25, 2010, under Adobe, News

Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs goes after rivals Google and Adobe at D8.

What is D8?

D8 Since its debut in 2003, The Wall Street Journal’s D: All Things Digital conference has been breaking news, highlighting innovation, and bringing you straight-up conversations with the most influential figures in media and technology.

From June 1-3, 2010, creators and executive producers Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher put the industry’s top players to the test at D8, our eighth annual conference.

Here is the article from Wall Street Journal about Jobs at D8

By YUKARI IWATANI KANE And NICK WINGFIELD

RANCHO PALOS VERDES, Calif.—Apple Inc. Chief Executive Steve Jobs, in a broad-ranging discussion, took more potshots at Adobe Systems Inc.’s Flash software, vowed not to get into search despite Google Inc.’s move into Apple’s turf, and called Apple passing Microsoft Corp.’s stock valuation “surreal.”

Speaking at the Wall Street Journal’s All Things Digital technology conference on Tuesday, Mr. Jobs touched on issues that include suicides at Apple’s largest contractor, challenges related to AT&T Inc.’s phone network and the origins of the iPad.

The war between Apple and Adobe has been escalating over the last few months. Mr. Jobs reiterated on Tuesday that it believed an emerging technology called HTML 5 was a better alternative to Adobe’s Flash. “Sometimes you have to pick the things that look like the right horses to ride going forward,” he said, adding that consumers pay Apple to make those choices…. Android vs. iOS4 – I Can’t Hear You!

by AdobephotoshopCS5.com on Jun.16, 2010, under News

Now listen up everyone I understand it takes so much time to leave a comment on my site (sarcastic tone). In knowing that I am going to make this very simple for everyone. Lets start off small, which of the two Mobile Operating Systems are you looking forward to more, the iPhones new (iOS4) OS or the Droids (Android 2.2) OS?

One word comments welcome – “Droid” or “iPhone” or if you feel like it getting into with another user about how iOS4 is a lie and sucks, feel free.

iPhone iOS4 is dumb.

by AdobephotoshopCS5.com on Jun.15, 2010, under News

iPhone 4

So the huge selling point of the the new iPhone 4 and iOS4 is this so called multitasking operating systems.  Apple says this – “Now you can run your favorite third-party apps — and switch between them instantly — without slowing down the performance of the foreground app or draining the battery unnecessarily”. First things first, “draining the battery unnecessarily” what the hell does that mean? It is going to drain it but for a necessary reason, is that what it means? Anyway, back to this mythical multitasking smartphone…well almost. The iPhone4 running iOS4 can only use it magical multitasking capabilities with default apps and 3rd party apps that have been specially developed to be ran on iOS4 and developed to multitask. So if you can find an application with those features you are set. If not, that sucks. You just wasted your money for an iPhone that has folder capabilities built into it’s OS. Nice.

Have any say on the topic leave a comment – Enjoy

Facebook needs to stop messing around!

by AdobephotoshopCS5.com on Apr.13, 2010, under News

We all either love or hate Facebook, well if you have been paying attention to it these past few months you have noticed all of the useless crap they have been adding and how it has just turned into a spammers paradise.  They need to take away all of the useless features like the market place, and focus more of their time of cracking down on the amount of spam and viruses that are taking over their once clean site.  What do you want to become of Facebook in the next few months?   We here at AdobePhotoshopCS5.com would like to see less spam, less ads, less features being added and more refining of their good ones.  A video chat features would be killer!  Take an axe to marketplace and shitty games and give the users something they can use.  Voice your opinion on this subject in a comment, we are curious to see what you want from Facebook in the future.
