iPad 2 vs New iPad
by AdobephotoshopCS5.com on Apr.04, 2012, under Reviews
“The biggest talking point is, of course, the truly bonkers resolution. 2048 x 1536 means four times the pixels of the previous iPads and, indeed, a full million more than your average 1080p TV. On the 9.7-inch display this works out to a pixel density of 264ppi. That’s considerably lower than the 326ppi the iPhone 4S manages and, indeed, below the magic 300ppi barrier Apple had earlier specified for the “Retina” moniker. But, as you’re expected to hold the new iPad further from your face than your phone, the perceived pixel density is said to be comparable.”

Verizon iPhone 4 Review 2011
by AdobephotoshopCS5.com on Mar.14, 2011, under News, Reviews
- The good: The Verizon iPhone 4 offers a hot-spot feature not available on AT&T’s device. Performance was better in most regards.
- The bad: The Verizon iPhone 4 lacks world roaming and the ability to access voice and data simultaneously. The hot-spot feature didn’t work with all devices.
- The bottom line: The Verizon iPhone 4 has much in common with its AT&T counterpart, but varying features and different performance give it enough room to stand apart. It won’t vastly change your iPhone experience, but we welcome the consumer choice that it brings.

Within the recent years computers and their languages have become more and more apart of our life and especially our work life. Knowing the basics of any programming langue that makes up what you see on the internet will help you understand web pages and make them easier to navigate. Having as many computer skills on you’re resume as possible is a huge plus for an employer when skimming over your resume.
Here is a site I am starting to develop for ASP.Net beginners, the site is www.dotnetforbeginners.com.

User Pros on Droid
by AdobephotoshopCS5.com on Oct.11, 2010, under Reviews
It is my first cell phone, so I don’t have much to compare it against, but I’ll try listing some:
- Fantastic screen
- Strong Google Voice integration
This gives me the visual voice mail, easy way to manage voice mail from both phone/web, easy way to text and store texts.
Lets me keep a log of all calls that I make, on this phone and any phone in the future.
- Google Maps / Navigation
I use this so much, before I would just print out mapquest/google maps directions and glance at them at redlights. Now I just use the car dock + navigate
- Contacts sync with Google Contacts
- Open app market
- Voice recognition
- Micro USB charger
MaximumPC – Photoshop CS5 Review
by AdobephotoshopCS5.com on Oct.11, 2010, under Adobe, Reviews
After 9.5 versions of Photoshop (Windows wasn’t supported until PS 2.5) it’s easy to become jaded about Adobe’s stalwart photo editor. Fortunately, Photoshop CS5 gives us something to get worked up about all over again.
Packing more than 250 new features, Photoshop CS5 is an amazing upgrade capable of performing a wide range of tasks we’ve never seen before, while simultaneously simplifying the trademark tasks we’ve come to know and love.
Case in point: the Content Aware Fill tool, a hybrid between the Clone Stamp tool and the Patch tool, that allows users to selectively remove any part of an image and replace it with a suitable, blendable background. Using a newly developed algorithm that can stitch together multiple parts of a surrounding background image, Adobe has developed a groundbreaking tool that can make objects in an image seemingly disappear into thin air. When it works, it’s truly a sight to behold…..[read more at maximumpc.com]

What does Brusheezy.com have to say about the upgrade?
by AdobephotoshopCS5.com on May.28, 2010, under Adobe, Reviews
Adobe Photoshop CS5 is quite an impressive software application. In our opinion Photoshop CS5 is the best version yet. The new features available in CS5 are quite nice and will certainly expand your tool set.
We really enjoyed working with the Content Aware Fill feature, and the new brushes are fantastic. The HDR Toning, Refine Mask, and new 3D features were all nice additions as well. While we do think the Puppet Warp feature was nice, in our opinion it was a bit of a disappointment. Mini Bridge and the Lens Correction Filter were also notable new features but not exactly a massive leap forward.
In all, we like CS5. Do we recommend that you upgrade? Well, that depends. If you’re still using CS, CS2, or CS3, the new features in CS5 combined with all of the advances since might make the cost worthwhile. For those of you still using CS4, an upgrade is probably not necessary. However, if you feel the new content aware and brush features will really help your workflow and you have some money to spare, then go ahead and get it.

What does PC World have to say about Photoshop CS5?
by AdobephotoshopCS5.com on May.22, 2010, under Adobe, Reviews, Tips
Worth the Upgrade?
Photoshop CS5 has lots of little tweaks, enhancements, and improvements that add up to smoother workflow, greater convenience, and more creative potential for those who use Photoshop day in and day out. If you’re still using CS3, combining the advances of CS4 with CS5 makes upgrading an easy decision. If you are currently using CS4, moving up to CS5 could save you some time and effort–especially if your regular tasks include masking and cloning. If you are into painting, the new Mixer Brush may be enough to make the upgrade worthwhile. And if you do a lot of low-light photography, in which noise is a problem, the fact that Camera RAW 6 won’t be available to CS4 users is very compelling. However, moving from CS4 to CS5 it isn’t one of those mandatory, can’t-avoid-it decisions for other Photoshop users who are satisfied with their current workflow and toolset.
As usual, Photoshop and the rest of Creative Suite 5 are available in a somewhat confusing array of packages. But when you stop to read what each contains, it becomes a clear issue of deciding just what programs you need (or want) and which ones you don’t.
You can buy Photoshop CS5 Standard or Extended as stand-alone applications, for $699 or $999, respectively. Upgrades from Adobe Photoshop CS2, CS3, or CS4 Standard, or from Adobe Photoshop CS3 or CS4 Extended, to Photoshop CS5 Standard is $199; upgrading to Photoshop CS5 Efor Extendextended is $349. From Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0, 6.0, or 8.0 (Mac OS) or Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0, 7.0, or 8.0 (Microsoft Windows) to Photoshop CS5 Standard is $599, and to Extended, it’s $899.
If you use at least two Adobe programs, it may be more economical to get one of the Creative Suite box sets. Adobe Photoshop CS5 is available as a component of Adobe Creative Suite 5 Design Standard ($1299). Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended is available as a component of Adobe Creative Suite 5 Design Premium ($1899), Adobe Creative Suite 5 Web Premium ($1799), Adobe Creative Suite 5 Production Premium ($1699), or Adobe Creative Suite 5 Master Collection ($2599).[PCW]

Snow Leopard or No Leopard – Review of Mac OS X Snow Leopard
by AdobephotoshopCS5.com on Feb.22, 2010, under Reviews, Tips
Apple Mac OS X Snow Leopard was released on August 28th 2009 and of course all Mac users just “had” to have it or they might melt because they’re so sweet. Well lets just see if it was really necessary for those dorks who rushed into Best Buy screaming “I want change” to be so gong ho about this OS add-on/Upgrade. Lets clear that up before we move onto the review of the product, Snow Leopard is just an upgrade for Mac OS X. Now that we all understand that Snow Leopard is not a whole different OS for mac you will understand the review much better. We will give you a few major pros and cons about the product and then a summary which will give you an educated opinionated verdict on weather or not to purchase.
Snow Leopard Pros
- Interface enhancements, like Expose in the Dock and better file and folder viewing in Stacks make finding apps and files much easier.
- The reanimated corps of QuickTime, QuickTime and it’s recording tools are now cleaner, faster, and overall more user friendly.
- Exchange support across Mail, the Address Book, and iCal is huge for those who take their Macs to work.
- Improved Speed throughout the whole computer by converting most major applications to 64 bit.
Snow Leopard Cons
- Not much is physical changed in the OS.
- Only works with Intel powered Macs, so you have a PowerPC Mac you are out of luck.
- The upgrade is not free it will run you about 30 dollars.
Summary
Bottom line If you are in need of the new upgrade capabilities to get through your day with ease instead of pulling your hair out, then you should go spend the 30 dollars on the upgrade. If you are the normal Mac user that just uses it for writing school papers and browsing the internet, then save your money because you will not be able to tell the difference in the OS.

The Word is Windows 7 “Rocks” – Be Update or Be Out-of-Date
by AdobephotoshopCS5.com on Feb.19, 2010, under Hints, Reviews, Tips
Windows 7 has been out now for enough time for users to hate on it or love on it, and from what we can see is that most Windows 7 users love it. If you are still stuck on XP it’s only a matter of time before you will not be able to use it anymore. Computers are turning a new 64 bit leaf, and leaving all 32 bit users in the dust with their speed, graphics and usability. If you have more than 4 GB of RAM then XP is no longer for you because it can only access AT THE MOST 3.5 of them and wasting your time. On the other hand Windows 7 can handle much greater amounts of memory as much as 128+ GB in their ultimate version as compared to XP’s 3.5 GB. Soon they will start making computer games in 64 bit which will totally rock the 32 bit games out of the damn water, and do you think a machine running XP will be able to play these… NO! Computer hardware is gaining speed and power quickly so if you want to be up to date with the times and have a OS that supports anything you throw at it i recommend you upgrade to Windows 7 or at least Vista to get the full experience of your computers hardware.
