Technology is advancing – learn how to program while you can

by AdobephotoshopCS5.com on Feb.23, 2011, under News, Reviews, Tips, Web Design/Development

Within the recent years computers and their languages have become more and more apart of our life and especially our work life. Knowing the basics of any programming langue that makes up what you see on the internet will help you understand web pages and make them easier to navigate.  Having as many computer skills on you’re resume as possible is a huge plus for an employer when skimming over your resume.

Here is a site I am starting to develop for ASP.Net beginners, the site is www.dotnetforbeginners.com.

HTML 5 – what’s all the fuss?

by AdobephotoshopCS5.com on Feb.24, 2010, under News, Web Design/Development

As you are all (computer programmers at least) starting to hear HTML 5 is going to be used in major browsers and sites soon. One of those major sites right now is Youtube.com, they are testing a new HTML5 based video player instead of Flash. Well that should be a good thing for everyone, meaning that technology is advancing and we are apart of it. HTML 5 is just another version of HTML everyone no reason to be scared of it. The best thing to do is start learning it. This new version is going to be hecka tight and versatile all over the web. Instead of using multiple languages to do something you can now just use one being HTML 5. If you want to see all on the syntax and brains behind the operation go to www.whatwg.org (the designers of HTML 5). There are just so many more options for every event handler and they are so many new events you can use. Bottom line is that HTML was old and nothing new was being added to the old sloppy language, so hopefully this is just what it needed.
